The PTX1711-LK level transmitter is part of the PTX1711-LK family of magnetostrictive liquid level probes that take both the interface level measurement and the total volume. The PTX1711-LK large, buoyant, and robust floats allow it to be used in harsh applications where fouling or buildup might otherwise be of concern.

This liquid level sensor is designed for high turbidity environments, and is certified for installation in hazardous areas in the US and Canada by CSA for Class I, Divisions 1 and 2 and Class I, Zones 1 and 2 environments. The RS-485 Modbus RTU output makes the PTX1711-LK compatible with any Modbus controller or PLC. It also simplifies wiring dramatically.
